Your Homework? Is It All About Pain or Gain?

Im sure that everybody will scream when they hear about homework, especially for students. Why does this happen?

Almost everynight, books and worksheets might seem like natural part of childhood. Students will do a mountain of homework, forcing themselves in their rooms to finish it. Some poeple said that we must think harder and spend more time just for doing homework. Those reasons can make students have negative thinking of homework.
Let me say that homework is additional exercise from teacher to make students understand better about the topic they learn. It can be like worksheets, short essays,  or projects. By doing their homework, students can absorb more knowledge and find difficulties from that work to be asked to the teacher.
People have different opinion about homework. Some of them might think that homework is a useful exercise to improve students’ knowledge and a practice of skills in individual or team project. However, not few of them also think that homework is just like disgusting work which is really wasting time. From this case, we can say that homework has two really different sides, helpful or even harmful. What do you think?
On one side, homework is really helpful for students. The main benefit of assigning homework is we can review the material covered in class. Homework can change a student to become diligent because with a mountain of homework on their own desk, they will start to do it and prevent them from being lazy. Futhermore, this additional work can explore students’ knowledge and improve their ability to do that work. It also can be a sword to help students remember the material when they have test.
On the other side, homework can be harmful. Just like there is a monster in homework, many students are so scared of it that they feel very lazy to do their work. They think it is useless because they can directly cheat a friend’s answer in the morning before bell ringing. They think it’s very time consuming and stressful for several students.  If you have many homework, it’s really hard for you to enjoy your holiday. Moreover, it might be nightmare for type of students who have good understanding in class but have no idea what to do with their homework.
From all of that cases, I can conclude that homework has positive side and negative side. Just absorb the positive side as much as we can and kick the negative side as far as we can. Also, to help manage our time to do the homework, we can ask for help from someone as our tutor. If so, we can control our self to be diligent student. Then, we will always get great result in class because we already practice something previously.
Just you, the one who can filter whether it is good or bad.  All of your decision is influencing  your dreams and your future. So, start from now, try to love homework and manage your time well to do all of that, won’t you?
