firstly l arrived in Appleton Airport, my welcoming family gave me the sweetest hug ever. they are Gill family. l spent a week in their home, sweet home. l had 3 siblings there- Sarah, Hannah, and Stephanie. all of them are so beautiful, really.
during the time in Gill family, l enjoyed a lot. l tried many new american food like Lasanya, Tacco, and fruit named Peach. those tastes were just so strange in my tongue. but again, its okay because there is no best or worst, there is just different. also, they often to ask me to tell them about Indonesia a lot. they were a kind of curious family of Indonesia. l enjoyed it because l can gave them the best explanation of Indonesia, l felt like a real Miss Ambassador
after having wonderful time in Gill family, l moved in Graff family. they will become my host family for along this year. they also nice to me.
everything just ran okay till l got my homesick yet. out of the blue, l miss my home country, my school, my biological family, my friends, my life in Indonesia. sometimes, l also feel lonely and need somebody to share. luckily, l have nice host family. they help me to stay on my good mood. so because of that l can survive till now :)
